Q-Mass's wire erosion and spark erosion EDM machines were supplied by Agie-Charmilles who are widely recognised as being market leaders.
The EDM machines erode material in the path of the arc between the electrode and the work piece allowing complex metal profiles to be accurately cut that would not be possible using conventional metal cutting techniques. The cutting path is CNC controlled and operates by moving the electrode to form the required profiles.
